Beggar's Association - A Tentative thinking

I want to discuss very interesting point here!!

This is about the Beggars which are moving around all cities, this is not an Issue of a single state or city it’s a problem of the country and even the world.

But can we take little initiative for it.

Let me explain the problem first.

Let’s say you are from Gandhinagar and went at the park of Gh-6 with your family I am sure you found lot’s of Beggars moving around and bagging, even in all station and all areas especially at railway station, Bus station, Temples etc , some people are handicap and not able to work and bagging (because they don’t have any other option for earning)

But some people are young and healthy and bagging, you found some child over there and they are bagging. Even not a single child the little child of 10-years having other child in hand of 2-years and they both are bagging and his mother and father are also bagging at same place and forcing child to earn more money, At the end of the day they get a good money may even better then the worker, This money will be used in drinking and all kind of cheap work, eventually they are creating bagging family and the child will not learn how to earn money, later on the 10-years child will do all kind of Criminal work to earn money because they don’t learn how to get a money because they don’t know any work, as a result criminal will be made in society, and things are directly effecting to state of country.

If you look at other side there are some worker (Majdure – the people doing work like collie at railway station and construction work in bug buildings) who will work for all days he will do all kind of labor work and get some money for the family, these are the person who are staying at slums at Gh-2, Gh-3 (Gandhinagar) etc and get money for the family. This people are poor but they don’t want to earn money by doing bed work and bagging.

If you compare the income of Beggar Vs Laborer then the Beggar get good money then Laborer, that is the reason that Beggar don’t want to convert to Laborer.

Don’t you think some action has to be taken against it and give him a good life?

As per my view if Government wants then following things can be implemented.

Pre-requisites:

1. Alert the people and spread one toll free number instruction them that wherever you found Beggar just inform this XXX number and somebody from the organization or police should go and take a charge on it
2. Spread message to the society that we are doing something for this kind of people please don’t give any money to them.

Steps can be taken:

1. Can we have one association or Organization and all Beggar’s kind of person should be a part of the Organization/Association.
2. For the people who are handicap and cannot do anything, probably senior citizen - we should create a place where they can live there life, we are not going provide a luxurious life but provide the minimum facilities and earn their blessings., if they want then they can do some work if possible
3. For the young and healthy people we are doing bagging work, the following things can be implemented.
1. In current situation as a common man let’s say I want a plumber or worker then there is a question that where I can find this type of guys.
2. One toll free number needs to be created where anybody calls and booked the worker in advance, the same thing can be booked on internet via debit or credit card.
3. The person will not pay anything to the laborer; Government will be paying him salary based on his call.
4. For child government should think something like education and job also – this will be organization call.

This is something which comes in my mind to help this kind of people

It would be great if we can do something like this, we are spending so much money in some “Government Yogna” , can we do something like this

I am sure if we will manage the things well then this type of concept can earn profit also.
